Roasted Red Pepper Hummus

1 -15 oz. can of Garbanzo beans- drained

¼ cup black beans

1/2 cup of Red Roasted Peppers- water packed

1 clove of Garlic or more to taste

1/4 tsp. of ground Cumin

3 T of lemon juice

1 T of Tahini -sesame seed butter

I T olive oil


Recommended-2-3 capsules of Essentials and 2-3 capsules of SuperGreens+D ( both whole food supplements from Touchstone Essentials - or call me 701-306-7324 (Makes this a super whole food)

Up to 3 oz. liquid (Almond milk, juice from the Roasted Red Peppers) for a thinner texture

Tabasco sauce to taste ( can substitute this for the garlic if garlic breath is an issue) AND/OR add Louisiana Hot Sauce- milder than Tabasco and smoother.

Teaspoon of jalapeno pepper juice.(optional)

Black olives as desired (3-5)(optional)

Dried tomatoes- 3-5 pieces.(optional)


Blend all ingredients in a blender until the texture is smooth

Serve as a veggie dip or a spread on bread, crackers, pita bread dip, or in sandwiches.

Per Tablespoon 20 calories; 1g. protein; 3 g. carbohydrate; 0.5 g. fat;  20 mg. sodium
